The lifeguard chairs are off the beach, the wind carries the sand over the footpaths between the dunes. Sure signs that summers come to an end. The crowds were gone from the beach tonight during our photo shoot, but it was nice to feel the wind, smell the salt and watch the sun go down…
Nature served up some perfect weather, the bride was lovely and the locales? well, it’s Newport right? From the bagpiper on the lawn at Ochre Court to our swing out along the drive on the way to Oceancliff, it was a picture perfect event. Every little peice fell into place. Congrats! Down at Gooseberry this week, I was working the crowd. Three kids 2, 4, and 5. We were playing games and working hard. Finally the kids were just about out of gas, I clicked off the last few shots. I love the natural look of this one, even if it’s a pile on. If it’s a hit or a miss with the client only time will tell, but you can’t hit the homer unless you swing away…
I went to a wedding and a party broke out! Really- it was in high gear when I arrived. Of course I knew it was going to be a great wedding. We filmed Katrina and TJ’s Cinema intro in the spring before the wedding date. From Oceancliff to the shooting in the bar upstairs at Pelham East, they were fun and a pleasure to work with. We shot this friends session at the beach recently, and ran out of light fast on a foggy evening ’round seven. Some of these are a little soft because of the late hour, but think how amazing this picture will be with the “classic” pickups at the reunion 20 years from now…
Shooting seniors at the beach a few weeks back, I passed the Del’s truck at Surfer’s End. One of the subjects wanted a lemonade.  “Wouldn’t it be cool if…”

In the Hub on Sunday for a location shoot with Steph and Sean. It was a hot afternoon, but we cooled it off with some pix by the reflecting pool. There were too many good ones to post, but I loved the pix by the fountains, even if I did get a little wet…
Lisa was a fun and lovely bride, she married Tyler on the lawn at Oceancliff on a sunny Sunday afternoon overlooking the sailboats gliding by the cliffs below. Just the right amount of hazy light gave me just what I needed for a beautiful set of pictures on hot, humid New England afternoon…slideshow
Jami and Ross ducked out of cocktail for a few minutes to grab a few pictures by Ocean Drive. Jami had a very chic dress- It had pockets! Great location, beautiful sunset at Oceancliff and Toni Chandler’s flowers were incredible as usual. Check it out in the slideshow here..
